Goldendoodles are a popular designer dog breed which combines a golden retriever and a poodle. This is done in an attempt to combine desirable characteristics of both breeds. There are multiple types of goldendoodles. An F1 goldendoodle has one golden retriever parent and one poodle parent. An F1B goldendoodle has one F1 goldendoodle parent and one poodle parent. An F1BB goldendoodle has one F1B goldendoodle parent and one poodle parent. Our puppies are F1B or F1BB.

We have generally found F1B and F1BB goldendoodles to have desirable personalities with low or virtually non-existing shedding. This has been a popular pet for families with moderate allergies.

Goldendoodles have some traits of both golden retreviers and poodles. Most often, this includes being family-friendly, attentive, a great companion, intelligent, obedient, and hypoallergenic (low/non-shedding).
